Ogun States To Clamp Down On Illegal Development of Private Estate
The Ogun state government has threatened to sanction private estates with no necessary government approval.
The state government through the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr Kayode Odunlami states that 98% of private estates advertising need to follow due process and get government approvals.
“They are doing illegal things; very soon, we’ll soon go after them.”
The government is focused on creating an enabling environment for a private-public-partnership that would engender affordable housing in the state to safeguard the interests of residents of the state.
